The Gravesham Golf Co. is the specialist golf arm of Gravesham Trophy Centre, built on more than 30 years of awards and engraving craft. Here's how we got here - and why we only make golf awards.
It started with a Captain's Day, in 1987.
John Gaymer opened Gravesham Trophy Centre in Gravesend more than thirty years ago - half a workshop, half a shopfront, every piece engraved by hand. Back then it was Captain's Day trophies and club silverware for the sides down the road - the kind of work where one order becomes every season, and word travels from one clubhouse to the next.
For three decades we engraved trophies for every sport going - football, cricket, rugby, bowls. Golf sat alongside them all, but it kept pulling us in deeper - the clubs, the societies, the small rituals that come with the game. Along the way, our customers taught us the language of the game.
So we founded The Gravesham Golf Co. - a sister brand dedicated entirely to golf awards. Same workshop, same engravers, same family. Only pointed entirely at the fairway.
